Alice has over six years of experience in the outdoor industry, specializing in integrated public relations strategy, product and event launches, and creative brand storytelling. Alice is passionate about finding authentic and inventive ways to connect storytellers with the brands, athletes and leaders who make our industry remarkable. She lives in Tahoe where she can be found chasing her two dogs up the steepest trails she can find, perfecting her homemade pesto recipe and scheming her next road trip.

SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
A natural communicator and connector of people, Amy is a gear-obsessed, outdoorsy homebody. Although Amy grew up in the PNW, she only found her love for the outdoors a few years ago. Since then, Amy quickly started picking up one outdoor hobby after another: climbing, skiing, mountain biking, paddleboarding. Amy has led PR for top outdoor / lifestyle brands such as Helinox, Arcade Belts, Nocs Provisions and more. Now living in Bend, she loves working with purpose-driven brands and aims to make the outdoors more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

BRANDON SMITH
ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Brandon joined the OutsidePR team in 2020 with many years of prior experience. He grew up in Sacramento, CA, where he worked in a variety of industries, gaining valuable PR experience. In 2019, Brandon spent 5 months completing the Pacific Crest Trail. His favorite part about working in PR is that no two-days are the same, and the constant influx of new stories and problems to solve keep him engaged. Brandon currently lives in Bend, OR with his wife, Heather, and doberman-husky, Dean. The trio can often be found exploring Northern California’s trail systems, paddle boarding on Lake Tahoe, or visiting their favorite local breweries.

VICE PRESIDENT
From traveling the world, to snowboarding and scuba diving, to summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro and running marathons, this San Diego native is always chasing the next adventure. Deena has been strategically serving both outdoor and global brands for over 13 years. She is detail oriented, but still sees the big picture better than most other people in the industry. She loves nothing more than helping her clients develop and share their brand stories with the world. In addition to PR, Deena’s background also includes social media and influencer management, blog and email content development, on-camera spokesperson and experiential marketing.

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
With over a decade of experience spanning the cycling and outdoor industries, Eric’s passion and stoke shine through in the work he does every day. His favorite element of PR is building authentic relationships with those around him. As a creative at heart, he genuinely enjoys crafting stories to inspire others to pursue a life well lived in the outdoors. His prior work leading outdoor brands makes him a vital member of any team. After growing up in the Colorado Rockies, Eric and his family now reside in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina where you can find him exploring Singletrack by bike or on foot, camping somewhere out of cell service, or trying to outsmart trout with a fly rod in hand.

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Erin’s decade-plus years of experience in the outdoor industry shows in her incredible work and relationships. Having worked on both the media and agency sides of the business, Erin is a skilled storyteller with a knack for making genuine connections. Her favorite part about working in PR are the wonderful narratives that come from connecting journalists with athletes, brands and product stories. Her past work with clients in the outdoor space makes her a key player supporting a variety of clients. Erin lives in Jackson, WY, where she spends her free time skiing, climbing and teaching her dog Juniper new tricks.

GORDON WRIGHT
PARTNER
Gordon Wright is the founder of OutsidePR, which he started in 1995, and he hasn’t really worn a tie since. He began his career in San Francisco as Business Manager of the San Francisco Daily Journal. Prior to starting his own firm, Gordon was vice president of EvansGroup San Francisco, a 45-million dollar advertising and public relations firm. Gordon is an active runner and multi-sport athlete, having competed in races such as the Cal-Eco Kernville, the Appalachian Extreme and Ironman Arizona. He also founded one of the nation’s most notorious bandit adventure races, but gave that up in case he ever runs for office one day.

HOLLY HARRIS
ACCOUNT COORDINATOR
Holly grew up in Washington State frequently venturing into the Cascade and Olympic mountains. After graduating from college in Maine, where she spent every spare second exploring the trails, rivers and coastline, she moved to Sun Valley, Idaho, where she fell in love with backcountry skiing and mountain biking. Now in San Francisco, Holly couldn’t be more excited to work with the team at Outside PR. In her free time, Holly enjoys painting snowy landscapes, baking cookies, and forever searching for the best apple to eat with the jar of peanut butter in her backpack.

Jess is a seasoned communications and PR professional with a global perspective, hailing from Australia and with roots in Scotland and Canada. Following her university education, she embarked on a transformative yearlong journey spanning over 20 countries, enriching her understanding of diverse cultures and landscapes.
Over the past decade, Jess has ascended through the ranks at OutsidePR, channeling her expertise into the outdoor, lifestyle, and travel industries. Her leadership prowess and dedication to both clients and team members led to her appointment as President in 2021.
Deeply committed to fostering growth and success, Jess cultivates a vibrant company culture at OutsidePR that prioritizes connection, communication, support, empathy, and balance. Through her strategic vision and unwavering dedication, she continues to shape the company's trajectory in the dynamic world of public relations.
When she’s not working, you can find Jess running trails or skiing runs in beautiful Sun Valley, ID, where she lives with her husband Frank, daughter Isla and rescue pup Kosci (named for Mt Kosciuszko in Australia).

As a Northeastern Pennsylvania native, Maura has always had an affinity for all things outdoor-related. Whether she’s hiking, skiing, practicing yoga, or spending a day on the lake, Maura is her truest self when she is outside. Joining OutsidePR with a breadth of experience working with some of today’s top outdoor, lifestyle, and apparel brands including Outdoor Voices, Eddie Bauer, simplehuman and more, Maura’s professional expertise lies within creative ideation and relevant storytelling. When she is away from her computer, Maura can be found reading, crafting, planning her next trip abroad, or creating meaningful moments with her close friends – activities that are all best al fresco.

MEGAN MUNLEY
ASSISTANT ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Although her formal education is rooted in engineering, Megan was drawn to public relations for its analytical and creative qualities. She’s just launching into her new career, and is already a powerful storyteller and publicist for clients including Cotopaxi, CamelBak, Paleblue Earth and KOO. Originally from the beautiful rolling hills of the northeast, and most recently the White Mountains of New Hampshire, Megan recently made the move across the country to Boulder, Colorado. In her spare time you’ll find her skiing, hiking, reading, camping, climbing or running somewhere in the Rocky Mountains.

After getting a taste for the outdoor industry early in her 10-year career, Morgan’s six years of public relations and communications-specific experience across education, nonprofit and financial services have finally led her back to her passion working with outdoor and lifestyle brands. Morgan has a knack for strategic thinking, creative problem solving and brand storytelling. Morgan spent her formative years in Minnesota before making her way to Philadelphia, where she currently resides with her husband, son and two fur babies. Can’t find her “in the office?” Check a local brewery, one of the many rocky eastern PA running trails or the weightlifting area of her local gym!

Growing up in La Jolla, CA, Nikki's upbringing and family values have influenced her passion for adventure sports and desire to bridge the gap between outdoor brands and people. Nikki packs her weekends: whether it's surfing or paddling in the ocean, motorcycling in the desert, water skiing on the Colorado River, or snow skiing and biking in the mountains, she's happiest outside. Through her passion for the outdoors, Nikki aims to motivate individuals to lead healthier and happier lives, while also uplifting communities.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Noura is a recent public relations graduate from the University of Florida and is passionate about using the art of communications for social good and advocacy. Previously, Noura interned at the National Wildlife Federation where she advocated on behalf of public lands and wildlife. She had the opportunity to get first-hand experience on the importance of media outreach during the passing of the Great American Outdoors Act. Noura specializes in all things PR, strategic communications, copywriting, and social media. When she’s not working, you will find her climbing, backpacking or trail running bear her home in Denver, CO.

Rhea holds a degree in communication from the College of Charleston, where her education helped lay the groundwork for her professional career. She has experience in advertising, experiential marketing and is excited to work in public relations. Rhea is excited to advance her career in PR, where she can unleash her creative instincts and storytelling abilities. When the weekend rolls around, you'll either find Rhea trail running or surfing along the coasts of the Carolinas where she currently resides.

From Oakland, California, Spencer’s experience in marketing and event management comes from working for some of the top wineries in the Napa Valley. She earned her MBA from Holy Names University where she coached cross country & track, as well as her bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where ran cross country and track. She is always down for a good run or hike with beautiful scenery and the occasional sunset. Spencer is excited to learn from the best at OutsidePR and continue to grow in the outdoor space.

STEFANIE WALTERS
SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
A ski bum at heart, Stef quickly found her home in the outdoor industry — a place where she can combine her love of communications with outdoor advocacy. She grew up a competitive ski racer in Summit County, Colorado, and eventually followed the snow further north to Jackson Hole, where she continued her career in outdoor and active lifestyle public relations. After six-plus years of agency experience, she took the freelance leap and spent most of the pandemic growing female-founded start-up brands, spanning size-inclusive ski/bike apparel to non-profits breaking down barriers and welcoming more women into the outdoor industry. Stef currently resides in Denver, where she fills her cup on the skin track, mountain biking, tailgate après-ing, seeing live music, or planning her next international trip.

AFFILIATE DIRECTOR
Originally from the heart of the Midwest, Torie followed her passion for the great outdoors to Jackson, WY, where she's spent nearly a decade cultivating her career in the outdoor industry. Her journey has taken her from product line coordination and retail buying roles to digital marketing and creative storytelling in an agency setting. With a knack for understanding the full sales cycle, a keen eye for product details, and a talent for leveraging integrated communications, Torie excels at seeing the big picture while creating unique, performance-driven communications strategies for her clients, and is looking forward to bringing her years of experience in leading affiliate marketing teams to the crew at OutsidePR.
Now calling Victor, ID, home, Torie enjoys deep powder days with friends, riding singletrack, embarking on backpacking adventures, tending to her garden, and the occasional parking lot tailgate after an outdoor endeavor.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
A child of West Marin’s ranch hills and gnarled oak trees, Will has an innate love for the outdoors. He grew up backpacking in the Yosemite Wilderness and along the Point Reyes National Seashore. He has been known to regale folks with fireside readings of, “The Hobbit,” and catch a Rainbow or two with his grandpa’s old fly rod. Will is one of the more practiced writers at OutsidePR, and actually has a MuckRack page dedicated to a brief stint as a sports-writer following the San Francisco Giants. In his spare time, he enjoys reading fantasy epics, farming and listening to baseball on the radio.

ACCOUNT MANAGER
Based in the heart of the Green Mountains in Vermont, Zach has built a life and career around his passion for the outdoors, active lifestyle, and sustainability. Before joining OutsidePR, he led digital marketing, public relations and an ambassador program for Velocio Apparel. Collaborative, creative, and pragmatic in his marketing and communications practice, Zach has a keen eye for which stories and angles will move the needle and he forms deep relationships between brands and key opinion leaders to ensure those stories are told in the right place, at the right moment. Out of the office, you will find Zach riding bikes, going up and down mountains many ways, and adventuring with his wife, Erica and their hiking cats, Juniper and Freyja.

Colorado-based, and Vermont-grown, Zach is a dedicated subscriber to the “work hard, play hard” philosophy, bringing an unrivaled enthusiasm to the singletrack, steeps, and his relationships. Previously, he led communications for Crested Butte Mountain Resort, and has agency experience spanning travel, hospitality, tech and more. At work, Zach is known for his creative, thought-driven solutions and results-focused approach. Beyond the office, you’ll most likely find him racing mountain bikes, lapping double-fall line bumps under the chairlift, and generally psyching up everyone around him!
